Ethnomusicologist Ida Halpern collected a number of recordings of Haida songs from community elders eager to keep their heritage alive, featured here in a revitalized packaging concept. Interviews with music artists and visuals including photography and sharply contrasting illustrations are included in the liner notes, which tuck neatly into the sides of the three-panel case.
